All over body TRX HIIT workout!
You may of seen people using these funny looking bits of kit in the gym, outside in a park or even at home. But have you ever used TRX yourself? Or maybe always wanted to give it a shot?
Well, we have a treat lined up for you! Not only have we created a nice little TRX focused workout for you to try, we’ve adopted a HIIT style approach to get that heart rate going!
What are the benefits of TRX?
- Can be used in a gym, outside or even at home.
- Reduced time travelling from one station to another.
- Engage your core through every exercise. (Stronger core, stronger lifts!)
If you’re new to HIIT training start off by adopting a simple 2:1 work-to-rest ratio as laid out below.
Static rower – 5 minutes steady state – Resistance 10 – RPE: 5-6
TRX jumping squats – 20s working : 10s rest X 5
TRX press ups (feet suspended) – 20s working : 10s rest X 5
TRX jackknife – 20s working : 10s rest X 5
TRX curtsy squats – 20s working : 10s rest X 5
TRX rows – 20s working : 10s rest X 5
TRX plank – 30s working : 15s rest X 4
